The play I Consume, Therefore I Am criticizes consumerism and consumer society. It combines clowning techniques and conceptual art, with emphasis on movement (mime) and minimal speech. After welcoming the audience, the play switches to mime and gradually evolves into conceptual theatre. It contains an introduction and six acts. In the introduction, the performer welcomes the audience.

Corporation-induced mass hysteria of the people – the consumers. The shopping virus is spreading. Planet Earth has been infected by an autoimmune disease of the soul. Self-destruction is at hand. Unfazed by global issues, Mirabel the Clown simply wishes to take a breath of fresh, recycled air at the newly opened shopping center Kozmo, and have a cup of coffee in peace.

Ivana Koraksić graduated in Theatre Directing, and in her work, she tries to incorporate movement, dance, circus and conventional theatre.
She is one of the founders of Cirkusfera and is an independent artist at the Association of Drama Artists of Serbia. Cirkusfera is an organization for the development of contemporary circus, street theatre and modern theatre. It was established in Belgrade, in 2008.
A WORD FROM THE SELECTOR
A mime act which uses a combination of clowning techniques and conceptual art. It criticizes consumerism and consumer society. It has a spoken part at the beginning, then switches to mime theatre and later on changes into conceptual theatre and interacts with the audience. At least three other programmes could have been formed from the plays that didn’t make the cut and they would have been the following:
