You won’t find Stand Down with Nebojša Milovanović on any other stage in Belgrade. In this play, Nebojša combines his self-ironic and humorous confessions to the poems he recites and does so with superb skill. The band Stand Down brings a lot to the table, and in a very interesting way adds quirk to this unusual theatre form.
In a playful and modern way, Nebojša deals with the relationship between art and estrada and the ephemeral and superficial on the one hand with the philosophical on the other hand. In doing so he becomes a socially engaged artist by combing anegdotes and poetry, the personal and the universal. An unforgetable evening with an incredible charmer which will remind you of the good old days full of poetry, humour and excellent music.
