ABOUT THE PLAY
Inspired by the layered personality of this memorable Serbian woman, her emotional and artistic doubts, the position of artists in Serbia at that time and the political turmoil of that time. Milkica Miletić, a writer from Čačak, brought to life the character of Nadežda Petrović, the most important Serbian painter from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, who marked the European art scene with her works, and was an avant-garde personality of that time and a heroine of the First World War, in her text
"Unwritten letters", which was adapted and directed for the stage purposes by Nataša Radulović.
"Unwritten letters" is a regular guest appearance in the repertoire of the stage "Raša Plaović" at the National Theater in Belgrade.
ABOUT THE CONTRACTOR
Vanja Milacic was born on April 24, 1977 in Podgorica. Even as a child, Vanya attended acting, ballet and piano lessons. She graduated acting at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Cetinje, in the class of Professor Branislav Mićunović, with the play Dies Irae. At the age of twenty-two, she moved to Belgrade, where she continued her acting career.
She was engaged in the dubbing of animated films and series for studios Blue House, Livada Beograd, Mobi, Gold Digi net and Wachout. She played in a large number of plays throughout the country and the region, among which Ljubav vera nada, Elektra, Three Musketeers, Kokoška, Mountain Wreath, Marriage of King Vukašin, Home of Bernard Alba, Watching, Lullaby for No Man's Wolf, Evil Souls, The Ship Sails for Belgrade, stand out. etc. She is the winner of the "Veljko Maričić" award for the best female role for the play Malograđani, the winner of the audience award at the Yugoslav festival in Užice, she was awarded twice at the Children's Festival in Kotor, and for her role in Gorski vjenac.
ABOUT THE THEATER
Since the abolition of the National City Theater of Čačak (1946 - 1956), located at the former "Kren" hotel, and today known as the "Belgrade" hotel, the city of Čačak has regained its city theater. On October 7, 2018, with the premiere of the first professional play "Triptych about workers" directed by Jugo Đorđević, and after more than sixty years, the Čačak City Theater began to perform. As the youngest at the moment and sixth in a row of cultural institution in the city, the Čačak City Theater was officially founded on December 25, 2018. The idea of re-opening the city theater, with several collaborators, was initiated in March 2018 by the current director of the theater, Bratislav Janković. In April 2019, the theater joined the "Community of Professional Theaters of Serbia" and became the sixteenth member of this community. Čačak City Theater aims to profile itself in the future as a modern theater based on contemporary tendencies in theater.
